Endorsements

  1. The Kane County Chronicle has endorsed Mark Davoust. I strongly endorse his candidacy. He's an honest guy who tells the truth - refreshing in today's political world.
  2. The Kane County Chronicle has endorsed Karen McConnaughay calling her "a leader who gets things done." Her opponent is "truth impaired" (my words). She is a hardworking honest woman who leads our county well. She should have your vote.
  3. The Daily Herald has endorsed Karen McConnaughay saying, "Incumbent McConnaughay, of St. Charles, has had a firm hand on the helm of that rare government body these days that can actually tout sound accomplishment along with fiscal responsibility."
  4. The Sun Times has endorsed Jim Oberweis for Congress.
  5. The Chicago Tribune has endorsed Kay Hatcher for District 50 State House of Representatives.
  6. The Chicago Tribune has endorsed Jim Oberweis for US Congress to replace Denny Hastert who has retired. About Oberweis they said, "He has a much better grounding on national issues than Lauzen..."
I support all those endorsements. I have no clue what kind of impact endorsements have these days other than to have another opinion publicized. I think it's also a good thing to have neutral parties examine the candidates and provide their views.
