The Electorate Has Spoken

You have to read this article posted at Illinois Review by Sam Pierce. He really expresses what many of us are feeling now about our incoming president. I can't remember being this depressed about an inauguration since Bill Clinton (STILL not having sex with that woman, and I'm not too sure he KNOWS what sex is--other than groping some dummy) became president. Yuck.

I love these quotes from the article:
  • "I would say that the upcoming nightmare is indeed historic, but only because it is the inauguration of an unbelievably bad candidate that should have never stood a chance to win election to high office."
  • "Yes, the electorate has spoken and this Tuesday a nation begins to pay for their expression of insanity."
  • “What if” pondering: I wonder what could have been if “Big Brother” Barry had not been effectively running unopposed in the general election. “What ifs” serve no purpose other than the necessary reminder of the tragic chain of events that culminated in what could be a catastrophe (at least for liberty.) What if Mike Huckabee, Charlie Crist, the RNC, and the ridiculous primary system hadn’t come together to ensure an Obama victory by allowing a John McCain nomination? Even worse, Obama was such a bad candidate that even John McCain stood a chance until the (convenient for Dems) economic crash occurred.
Yep, he's all about change. That's what we'll have left in our pockets after he increases our taxes.
