This sure doesn't make me feel good about my Illinois pension

For the second year in a row, Illinois ranks dead last when it comes to saving money to pay promised worker pensions -- and the hole is getting worse. According to a new report being issued this morning by the Pew Center on the States, Illinois through fiscal 2009 had set aside just 51% of the $126 billion it will need to pay retired workers their pensions.

'effing moron......

Obama: new task force will examine gas prices

There's war in the mideast, debt throughout the world and DISTURBING reluctance on no-bama's part (and the demon-crats) to deal with the SPENDING problem we have here. Our dollar is tumbling--no wonder the price of a gallon of gas is so damned high. 'Effing morons in charge in the White House.

Thankfully there IS a death penalty in Florida--and they USE IT

Searching for evidence in gruesome murder

This kid is lured to his death by his ex-girlfriend.  Disturbing, disgusting, awful. They should be tried and put to THEIR death when they are convicted.

"When the unsuspecting Jackson arrived Sunday at the Summerfield home of one of Wright's friends, he was ambushed by several other teens, including Wright's current boyfriend, Michael Bargo, 18, police said.
Bargo allegedly shot Jackson several times with a .22-caliber revolver. When Jackson tried to escape, he was struck with an ax handle and restrained. Jackson was then placed in a bathtub, where Bargo broke his knees so his body would fit in a sleeping bag. But Jackson was still alive, so Bargo shot him again, police said.
Then the gang allegedly crammed Jackson's body inside a blue sleeping bag and hauled it to a backyard fire pit, where they used wood to start a fire that burned for hours."

Abortion makes Planned Parenthood money

ADF - Alliance Defense Fund

"Abortion is big business for Planned Parenthood.

In 2009, America’s largest abortion provider received nearly $350 million in taxpayer funding – and aborted more than 332,000 preborn children. The University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics was secretly planning to transfer Planned Parenthood’s late-term abortion services to one of its medical facilities. Not only could this abortion program lead to the deaths of nearly 100 developed, 19- to 22-week-old preborn babies each year, but pro-life staff – like Anesthesiologist Nancy Fredericks – would be forced against their conscience to participate in the killing of innocent lives.

By God’s grace, ADF and our allies uncovered its covert scheme, fired off letters to university hospital officials, and helped coordinate a public response. As a result, the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics has abandoned its late-term abortion plans."

Liberal women ARE hypocrites

The Hypocrisy of the Feminist Left

"We all know most extreme leftists are undoubtedly hypocritical.  There are those who claim Rep. Paul Ryan’s (R-WI) budget plan will kill, starve and abandon disabled children and the elderly but they support Obamacare while denying the inevitable rationing that will occur under socialized health care when the money runs out.  There are those who praise the President for intervening in Libya for “humanitarian purposes” but criticize the war in Iraq.  A country with a sadistic dictator who killed more Muslims than anyone in history."

WAY BACK WHEN (I was in my early 20's) I was a member of NOW, but as soon as abortion became their #1 issue I told them to take a hike. If NOW is an organization that was designed to promote women's rights, protect and defend women, WHY do they praise and push support for abortion that (probably if statistics are correct) kills 50% of the babies that are aborted in this country? Why don't they protect and defend CONSERVATIVE women who are attacked (and viciously) by creeps in the press and on the internet? HYPOCRITES. They should be ashamed!

From Senator Jim DeMint

Republicans must not be so afraid of Democrats' threats of a shutdown that they fail to unite behind the broad, sweeping reforms necessary to save our country. There will be a short window to pass the balanced budget amendment before a vote to increase the debt ceiling and the GOP must take advantage of it.

This guy ought to know

I ought to know. I was Mr. Obama’s college classmate at Columbia University Class of ‘83. Our college was dominated by socialists and Marxists who hated capitalism and America. Let’s look at the facts up close and personal - Jeff Foxworthy style. Mr. Foxworthy leaves no doubt as to “who might be a redneck.” Let me leave no doubt that “Obama might be a socialist.”"

Paul Ryan explains the deficit and GOP plans

First strike on the unconstitutional no-bama care law

"Congress on Tuesday passed the first major changes to last year’s health care law, undoing both a burdensome paperwork requirement for small businesses and rewriting part of the way the health exchange subsidies are paid for.

The measure has become known as the “1099 repeal” because it would relieve businesses of having to file 1099 tax forms for any person or company to which they pay at least $600 in a year."

More success to come....
