"Reasonability has left the Capitol Building"

Read this story from Illinois Review on Governor Blago.

Great quote: "Passed this fall, Illinois Democrats criminalized employers who use E-Verify to check the legal status of an employee. Over this issue, Homeland Security sued Illinois on national security grounds."

Yep, so here in Illinois employers who follow federal law are considered criminals. Once again proves we're not serious about illegal immigration.

Here's a suggestion: don't do business with anyone who won't verify their employees are LEGALLY in the United States. When the roofing guy comes to your door, ask him the status of their employees. When the lawn guy solicits your business, ask him. When the guy who wants to seal your driveway quotes you a price, ask him. If we all refuse to do business with folks who employee illegal aliens then they might get a clue and actually hire people who are here legally.

Governor Blago--you're damaging our state beyond belief. Why don't you try to follow the law like the rest of us have to?????
