Read this one--it shows you how insane Demon-crats are

The Democrats’ Official Talking Point: If you oppose the Democrats’ plans for healthcare, you are a corporate stooge and not a real American

"
More and more videos are circulating each day of congressmen facing the wrath of the American people. Consequently, the Democrats have come up with an official talking point — the protests are bought and paid for by lobbyists and the insurance industry."

Ya, we're all stooges for corporate America.

Here are a list of logical conclusions anyone who is looking at this whole last 6 months of the No-bama administration with any level of intelligence could come to:
  • Demon-crats are morons.
  • Demon-crats are working to make the USA another socialist country.
  • Demon-crats are evil.
  • Demon-crats are stupid
  • Demon-crats hate America and want to see our beloved country in the economic and social toilet.

Keep it up No-bama

And the amount of revenue in the US Treasury will continue to plummet.

Remember buddy, it's YOUR economy now.

And it sucks!!!

How's that hope and change thing working for you now?

Pictures are worth a million words

Why No-bama's health care plan MUST BE DEFEATED

You'll lose 5 key freedoms under Obama's health care plan

This is your must read article on healthcare. According to Fortune magazine, there are five freedoms that you have now that the Democrats in Congress intend to take away from you. These are in the actual legislation.

  1. Freedom to choose what's in your plan
  2. Freedom to be rewarded for healthy living, or pay your real costs
  3. Freedom to choose high-deductible coverage
  4. Freedom to keep your existing plan
  5. Freedom to choose your doctors

Happy 4th of July!

Once again enjoyed watching Chicago's wonderful fireworks display from the condo balcony of friends overlooking the Field Museum, the lakefront, and Burnham Harbor. Always nice to spend time with friends and enjoy the fireworks over Lake Michigan. I thought the crowds that I saw were much less than last year and everyone was amazingly well behaved. Kudos to all those fine folks and to the Chicago Police!

Happy 4th of July!

PLEASE--NO Olympics in Chicago

And this is why:
Six Men Shot Dead In 24 Hours In Chicago

Black people are killing black people in Chicago.
  • It's not racism.
  • It's not some grand conspiracy.
  • It's not white people killing black people.
It's horrible. Black kids are dying because black kids are killing them.
And somehow it's someone else's fault.

Mayor Daley--let the police do their jobs. They can get a handle on this. Let's stop all this political correctness and recognize what's going on.

Not grieving

Michael Jackson, world famous pedophile, dead at 50

Would you have let that guy ANYWHERE near your kids?
Ok, he wasn't convicted, but EGAD, CREEPY to say the least. YUCK.
Feel sorry for his kids, but feel joy for them because they won't have to live with covers over their faces or be around that creepy guy anymore. ICKY is a nice way to describe him.

Read this article: Is Michael Jackson a Pedophile?

The most egregious takeover by the Congress

has just occurred. The "American Clean Energy and Security Act" was just passed by the US House of Representatives. Shameful.

Keep in mind this piece of trash will cost all of us dearly and will take away your freedom to do as you please with your real estate.

Amazingly Bill Foster, our representative here, voted no. I'm shocked he didn't buckle under to the Pelosi crapfest she probably threw at him. I'd bet more than a few folks (including me) from our district got in touch with him and expressed our opinion and desire that he vote no. SHOCKING that he actually (this once) voted the wishes of his district.

Here is a link to the roll call vote: http://clerk.house.gov/evs/2009/roll477.xml

"Today, the House bowed to the altar of radical
environmental extremism. 'Man-made' climate
change is a myth and cult, and its lies are based
upon faulty computer models that act as the
movement's oracles."—ALG President Bill Wilson.

People who fail to act as adults

Ok, I admit it. I watched the "big announcement" on Jon & Kate +8 tonight. I used to watch the show fairly regularly but kind of got tired of the whining and moody behavior of the children. No, the adults didn't bother me much up until TONIGHT. So here we go--I'm going to list my grievances, and you can agree or disagree--just venting a bit here because I've been reading some other blogs that focus entirely on this show and the evolution of the relationship between J & K.
1. both those people need to grow up. COME ON--you have 8 kids and how the hell can you not be scared to death about the influence of television and all those press jackals on them?
2. Jon REALLY aggravates me. Egad, he's 32 and is now sporting 2 earrings. What man does that to himself unless he's having a serious mid-life crisis and is trying to nail some young chickie.
3. Jon--you have 8 kids. Get some b**ls and GET A JOB. Your kids need to see a positive role model--not some guy who is driving a Z and cruising for chicks at night clubs. Get your ass home and stop trying to act like you're a 20-something single guy. You're out chasing 23 year old bimbos--they are trash for dating a married man, and you buddy, are the ultimate horned dog piece of garbage. Grow up you creep. Your wife took charge because you are a baby and someone needed to be in control.
4. Kate--lose the hair. Geez, it's ugly.
5. All you Kate bashers--do you have a clue how tough it is raising kids--and how about raising 8 kids???? You have to be a dictator if you want to have any hope of having any order in their lives and your life. Someone has to be the adult and make sure the kids are fed, clothed, and get to school on time.
6. It's summer--so no school. Instead of traveling to all those stupid locations TLC has for you why don't you just stay home and conduct class (home school) or take them to ballet or tumbling or whatever like other normal families?
7. To their relatives who have decided to bad talk them to the media---YOU ARE SCUM. Ok, you might have a beef with J & K but did you really expect that anything would be resolved by your sitting for interviews and then ripping into them for the tabloids? YOU ARE SCUM and if you had a brain in your head you wouldn't talk about them--it hurts the kids--or don't you care?
8. To all the people who run TLC--CANCEL THE SHOW. It's like watching a train wreck now. Time to pull the plug. Pay them off and move on to other shows. And please, no more multiple children shows. Makes my uterus hurt.
9. Kate--you should shut up, stop the book trips and speaking engagements and stay home. People will get tired of trying to dog you. You're the mom--be a mom and just let all this go. You got your 15 minutes of fame and it's done. Unfortunately in today's world that 15 minutes can kill your privacy, your marriage, and any hope for normalcy. Time to pull back and hunker down on your million dollar estate. Enjoy it--you earned it.
10. Jon--GROW UP, GROW UP, GROW UP. Stop the passive-aggressive crap and MAN UP.

So I guess you can see where my sentiments are. I'm kind of sick of those people who rag on Kate and talk about how much she's changed and how demanding she is. EGAD--when my kid was young I was probably pretty nasty too sometimes. It comes with the territory--motherhood is tough, and sometimes you get the brunt of the criticism whether it's earned or not. A good man (and I'm lucky and happy to have one) knows when to fight back, when to give in, and when to go along. I've changed physically, mentally--in how I look and how I think. We all change, and every marriage changes. You have to keep the goal in mind. A very wise woman (my mom) once told me to always remember WHY you got married (LOVE). You need to move ahead while doing what's best for your kids and your spouse but not forgetting yourself. That is hard, especially when you are tired, have too much to do, and probably not enough time to do it in. When you think things won't get done unless YOU do them you might be right. But not everything needs to get done---I think that's the hardest thing for women to remember. Once in a management class I took (a long time ago) I learned one great principle: Some things will not get done. A good manager can handle that. Sometimes I'm a good manager--but honestly I've become better as I've aged. When I was younger I tried to do it all--and didn't get much done--and sometimes felt like a failure. The lesson I've learned is it's ok to fail sometimes, but better to succeed at most everything. Little failures--big success.

Another gem from Lexington (thanks Karen)

And who would have known the "wise" voters of this country would elect a ******* moron?

Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Do you wish you were a liberal?

1. no responsiblity
2. no cares
3. everyone else pays-you don't
4. everyone else is wrong, you're not
5. you care SO MUCH more than everyone else
6. everyone else is BAD BAD BAD--and you of course frequently call them names that describe their BAD BAD BAD-ness
7. you know the government does everything better than any one individual could possibly do.
8. you are tolerant--conservatives are not (of course that's what you tell everyone else while you're sponging off them).

Read this from THE AMERICAN THINKER.
It's awesome, and in a wonderful way shows what boobs liberals are.
But you knew that--you read this blog.

NEVER buy another GM car in your life

Here's why:
"NEW YORK, May 19 (Reuters) - General Motors Corp's (GM.N) plan for a bankruptcy filing involves a quick sale of the company's healthy assets to a new company initially owned by the U.S. government, a source familiar with the situation said on Tuesday." (SOURCE)

So the "government" (code word for liberal Demon-crats who are clueless on how to run a business because they've spent their lives as "community organizers") is going to own GM and decide what cars to make, who to employ (UAW thugs who voted for them), rules for employees (ATTENTION UAW: you will get screwed in this but I'm not sure if you're smart enough to understand that), etc.

Ya, I really want a government car.
So take me at my word: that Chevrolet we had back in the 1970's (piece of crap with equally worthless service from the Chevy dealer in St. Charles) is the LAST GM we'll ever own. I'll buy only foreign cars--but they'll probably be made in the USA from NON-UNION (smart) laborers. I like my Hyundai and VW and Mercedes. No more UAW cars for us.

How big a jackass is Arlen Specter?

Pretty damn big. He uses the death of Jack Kemp to push a political agenda--and again show what a total disgusting person he is.

Specter: GOP priorities contributed to Kemp death

So because Jack Kemp is a Republican he died of cancer--at least according to Specter. Read that story and if you don't want to vomit when you're done, or don't see Specter for the total jackass he is you're brain dead.

This is what Demon-crats do

YOUR money is THEIR money--that's what they think and that's the way they act. Read this story about Alex Giannoulias who overseas the college savings program that Illinois had. THANKFULLY our family DOES NOT have any more money in any program this nit-wit overseas.

From the Chicago Tribune:

College program funds used for new SUV

|

While parents come to grips with major investment losses in a college savings program, public records show that Illinois Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias' office spent Bright Start proceeds to buy a $26,000 SUV he uses as his state car.

The purchase is surfacing as the politically ambitious Giannoulias continues to face criticism for his oversight of the Bright Start investment program, which lost $85 million last year.

It's the first time since the program was launched nearly a decade ago that money from it was used to buy a state vehicle, the treasurer's office acknowledged.

Giannoulias refused to comment for this story, but his spokesman defended using Bright Start funds to buy the black 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid. Scott Burnham said the SUV is not exclusively driven by Giannoulias but is part of a pool of a dozen cars used by workers to travel the state promoting treasurer's office programs, including Bright Start.

"They use it just like any vehicle is used by the entire staff," Burnham said. "Bright Start is a large part of the treasurer's office, and marketing the program and Illinois residents is critical."

But Burnham could not provide a breakdown of how often that particular Ford Escape is used for Bright Start-related purposes and said no log is kept of how that car is used or for what reasons.

Though the SUV is registered to Illinois license plate No. 6, Burnham said there are three such vehicles with that plate and that Giannoulias drives all of them, plus his personal car, which also is a Ford Escape Hybrid.

Giannoulias' office bought the Ford Escape in October 2007, according to state records obtained by the Tribune.

An identical car was purchased at the same time with funds from the Illinois Public Treasurers' Investment Pool, which allows towns and other taxing districts to pool their assets and have them invested by the treasurer's office.

Burnham said it is Giannoulias' discretion how operating money for the office's various funds are spent. He noted that the money for the SUV didn't come from parents' investments, but from a fee the firm that handles the investments pays to the treasurer's office to offset the cost of running the program.

"All of the funds pick up a portion of the expenses of the treasurer's office," Burnham said. "But we're not talking about taxpayer dollars here."

The Ford Escape Hybrid has become the go-to eco-car for politicians. Several Democrats running for president last year used the SUV, including Giannoulias' political mentor, President Barack Obama.

Giannoulias, who already has raised more than $1 million as he weighs a run for the U.S. Senate seat Obama once held, has made great use of his public support for hybrid cars.

In 2007 he traveled the state in his personal hybrid to promote a rebate program for Illinois residents who buy new hybrids or energy-efficient vehicles with loans from in-state banks. Materials from the treasurer's office note that people buying Ford Escapes like his are eligible for the rebate.

In recent months, Giannoulias has come under fire for his stewardship of the $2 billion Bright Start program, a college savings plan that is supposed to allow parents to put away money and earn interest on the cash for their children's education.

The fund lost more than $85 million last year in large part, Giannoulias has said, because of the management of OppenheimerFunds. A big reason for the drastic drop, he has said, is because Oppenheimer pursued a "reckless strategy" that involved buying mortgage-backed securities and credit-default swaps.

The treasurer has vowed legal action against Oppenheimer if necessary. But questions remain about how much Giannoulias was on top of Oppenheimer's investment strategies and what he did to encourage the firm to avoid putting Bright Start money into some of those more risky investments.

One Republican state senator has said he may soon call for a full audit of the fund.

--John Chase

NOTE: Alex G NEVER takes responsibility--look above at how he blames everyone else and DOES NOT admit he just might have been an idiot in how he handled the program. This is what happens when you elect people who have NO skills, no experience, and no abilities.

All this swine flu chatter is crapola

Do you think this kid got pig flu?

How dumb is all this crapola about swine flu? At my doctor's office they have masks, make everyone use hand sanitizer, and have a sign telling everyone to wash their hand and not cough on anyone else. GOOD GOD--now you have to teach people COMMON SENSE!

So here's my advice: don't go to Mexico or anywhere else people are sick and don't wash their hands. It's as simple as that.

I'm never growing up--I promise

I'm sorry to post this story

Whitley decides not to run for governor

Doug Whitley
THE STATE JOURNAL-REGISTER
Posted Apr 30, 2009 @ 07:07 AM

Doug Whitley, who took a leave of absence last fall as president and CEO of the Illinois Chamber of Commerce to explore a run for the Republican nomination for governor, said Wednesday he’s out of the race. Whitley will return to his chamber job Friday.

Whitley, 59, a former Springfield resident who now lives in Batavia, said he raised more than $100,000, but he didn’t have enough to keep the race going.

“If I was independently wealthy ... I could stay in the race,” he said.

Whitley said he hasn’t decided on who to support for governor, though it will be a Republican.
“I think the Democrats are still missing the boat. … They’re still trying to grow government instead of trying to grow private-sector jobs. They’re doing everything they can to put a spike in the economy instead of helping the economy.”

Whitley said he expects to return to donors money left in his campaign fund.

Don't you love Wendy Long?

If you're concerned about the direction our country is taking you should REALLY be scared about No-bama's criteria for selecting federal judges. We know he's in favor of murdering babies (since he supports abortion and in particular partial birth abortion), massive spending, withdrawing the private ballot for Americans who are under assault by unions (since he seems to favor "card check" and was massively bankrolled by unions), and essentially nationalizing the banking system in the US. Here's an awesome article by Wendy Long of the JUDICIAL CONFIRMATION NETWORK.

Just a few tidbits that should whet your appetite and send up alarm flares:
"During the presidential campaign, candidate Barack Obama said that "the criteria by which I'm going to be selecting my judges" is whether they have "the heart, the empathy," for certain groups of people....

The consequences for the federal judiciary of the last election are only just beginning, with the lawless “empathy” criterion now in effect for judicial picks. It’s especially ironic that in order to rush these judges to their new posts on the federal bench — where, instead of following the law, they can dispense “empathy” to ACLU-favored parties — the White House and Chairman Leahy are trampling on another Obama campaign promise: transparency and accountability."

Here's a link to the entire story: What’s the Matter with Empathy?
Obama’s criterion for picking federal judges would turn equal justice on its head.

And you wondered where your hard earned money was going

IRS Gives Illegal Aliens Billions In Refunds

The Internal Revenue Service has allowed more than one million foreigners—many in the U.S. illegally—to improperly claim tax credits that they don’t qualify for and it will end up costing the government close to $9 billion.

The best part is that the IRS knowingly permitted the exorbitant tax credits even though workers did not provide valid Social Security numbers on their returns, but rather the alternative Tax Identification Number (TIN) popular among illegal immigrants but not valid to work in the U.S.

Furthermore, the IRS allows companies that employ foreigners to file taxes using TINs—rather than the required Social Security—even though the law forbids it. A lengthy report, made public this week by the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration, lays out the gory details of how the tax agency’s negligence rewards law breakers and deprives the nation of crucial funds.

In one year alone, the IRS allowed nearly 300,000 U.S. companies to illegally report wages—of employees without valid Social Security numbers—totaling $9.5 billion. This in turn led the government to issue nearly $2 billion in illegal child tax credits to ineligible foreigners, many of them illegal aliens not authorized to earn wages in the U.S.

The inspector general points out that this creates an obvious problem since the payment of federal funds through this tax benefit provides an additional incentive for aliens to enter, reside and work in the U.S. without authorization, which contradicts federal law and policy to remove such incentives.

The IRS has for years accommodated illegal immigrants, by creating the special TINs for foreigners about a decade ago and subsequently allowing millions to illegally file income taxes with the special numbers. For years the tax agency has looked the other way even after discovering millions of W-2 forms with names that don’t match a Social Security number.

Janet Napo must be after me

(From today's Washington Times)
Hey, now I'm starting to wonder about that van with the darkened windows that's been parked down the street...and I thought I was just paranoid.

Tuesday, April 14, 2009

I am a proud to be a member of the "right wing"

Janet Napolitaino: She's nuts. Yup--that's gotta be it.

WASHINGTON – A newly unclassified Department of Homeland Security report warns against the possibility of violence by unnamed "right-wing extremists" concerned about illegal immigration, increasing federal power, restrictions on firearms, abortion and the loss of U.S. sovereignty and singles out returning war veterans as particular threats.

The report, titled "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," dated April 7, states that "threats from white supremacist and violent anti-government groups during 2009 have been largely rhetorical and have not indicated plans to carry out violent acts."

I am proudly in favor of:
1. limiting federal power
2. an individual's right to own a firearm
3. that abortion is a sin and should be outlawed
4. that STATES are sovereign
5. I believe in the 10th Amendment: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

I guess Janet Napolitaino thinks I'm a right wing radical and should be watched because I'm dangerous. I'll bet if you're reading this blog you're probably dangerous (according to her and DHS) also. Tsk, tsk.

Also, watch this video of Governor Rick Perry from Texas. He's all right in my eyes. Enough of idiots in Washington, DC telling states how to run. MYOB.

Judy Topinka ponders come-back bid

"The last Republican to hold statewide office in Illinois is pondering a come-back bid.

Confirming chatter among GOP insiders, former state Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka says she has been asked and is considering running in the 2010 elections, most likely either for her old job or for Illinois comptroller.

"I'm out here scandal free in a state that is fraught with corruption," Ms. Topinka, 65, said in a phone interview Monday morning. "I have people who are asking me to do this. People in the party, people in my old office. They're asking me to think about it.

"I really don't know yet," Ms. Topinka added. "You could say I am ruminating.""

What do you think? At least she wouldn't have to run against the Blago money machine like last time, but it'd still be tough against ANY Demon-crat in Krook-linois.

Happy Easter

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful day in the blessings of our Lord Jesus Christ. Today isn't about eggs or even that wonderful spiral ham. "The meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ's victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him." (from allaboutjesuschrist.org)

Believe in God
  • God exists. There is only one God. He has revealed himself as "He who Is". His very being is Truth and Love. Even though he has revealed himself, he remains a mystery beyond understanding (Catechism, 178, 199, 200, 230, 231)
  • Man responds to God's revelation by faith: believing God and adhering to his will. (176)
  • Faith is necessary for salvation. (183)

And just a few notes

Haven't posted in a few days. Actually I've been basking in the glow of the Blago indictment (read below) and enjoying watching the Demon-crats make all kinds of excuses for this rotten situation we're in here in Illinois. Egad--it's friggin' amazing how badly they've screwed up our state. BUT ALAS--they're working on screwing up our country every single day--they're tireless in the pursuit of mediocrity for America. That should be their campaign slogans--MEDIOCRITY FOR AMERICA--we're here, we're stupid, and all you folks out there who voted for us are idiots.

Good God. Sometimes I have to stand up, click my heals together and say, "It's only a dream, it's only a dream." But this is no dream folks. It's a nightmare---and it's called No-bama sickness. Yep, I'm SICK of this crap they spew and the idiots in Congress. I'm guessing that if you're reading this blog you're not too happy with them either.

Ok, moving on from that rant......every day I get an e-mail from GOPUSAMEDIA.com. Great group. If you're not getting their e-mails click on the link I've provided and sign up for the daily stuff from them. Today Bobby Eberle has a great posting about No-bama's $12 million dollar apology tour of Europe and beyond. You now--when he asked for troops and $ and got stiffed by all the G10 leaders. Yeah, we're getting lots of respect from them. So here's a link (CLICK ON THIS) to his posting. READ IT. It's great. (Just a sample here: "It was absolutely pathetic that a president of the United States feels the need to disparage his predecessor on foreign soil and to make apologies for America. America leads, America succeeds, and America is willing to take a stand. For a president to apologize for this is something that is beyond crazy. Obama has already shown his disdain for the American dream with his policies at home. Now, he is bent on showing the world that America is no good either. Well, I'm from America, and I DON'T apologize!")

During this trip the idiot the No-bama maniacs elected as president BOWED to the Saudi king (watch it here). DOPE. Well, here's what the Turks thought about him--Turkish Flash T.V. MOCKS U.S President Obama. Can you imagine if anyone in this country did that? Actually it's funny--I wish I spoke Turkish (?).

Even Camile Paglia thinks No-bama is screwing up. When a real lefty has negative things to say you know you're in trouble. (Read her posting in Salon.com by clicking on this link)

Blago Indicted--FOR REAL

EVERY person who voted for this guy should be ABSOLUTELY ashamed of himself. SHAME on you for doing this to the people of the State of Illinois. I voted for Jim Ryan in 2002 and Judy Topinka in 2006. If either of them were elected this never would have happened. To every Blago voter---you screwed us over with your vote. We owe billions of dollars because of this guy and we are the laughing stock of the country. Good job you idiots.

Beware: It's a 75 page indictment--19 counts. This guy better enjoy his time at DisneyWorld--he'll be behind bars for a while.

Just a few notes about the week so far

  1. Monday I got a chance to be a good citizen and serve jury duty. I was there good and early, ready to do my civic duty. Got picked for a panel, sat and listened to about 20 people or so get questioned for a case involving a burglary and possession of burglary tools. Nope, didn't get picked, but considering the questions that were asked of the others I doubt they would have chosen me. Oh well. After that we were all excused. Maybe next year....
  2. As of Tuesday night every Big 10 Division 1 women's basketball team is now officially out of the tournament. I know a few girls who play on the Purdue team, and I'm actually glad they're done. The basketball season is just too darned long. I know 2 girls who are 5th year players (both out for a year with some pretty serious surgery ), and I know the toll the practice and conditioning takes on their bodies. I'm not too fond of the coach either, but that's another story. My predictions? Yep, I'm going with the majority of folks who think UConn will take it this year. They're scarey good.
  3. Don't know about you but I'm darned tired of cold weather. Weather folks say we might be getting some snow flakes this weekend. ENOUGH ALREADY. I want spring, sunshine and warmth.
  4. Another day, another stupid thing No-bama and his nitwits have done. Heard about the I-Pod gift to the Queen of England? Egad--it's loaded with pics of him and his speeches. Ego, thy name is No-bama. Could this guy be any more full of himself? Can you imagine George W. doing something like that--and on top of that can you imagine the press and how they'd rip him apart?
  5. Every day I watch Fox Business Network (LOVE IT) and love Neil Cavuto. Watch this video of Cavuto ripping Congressman Grayson a new one. These Dumb-ocrats are beyond ballsy. Cavuto--I love you.

Just can't wait until No-bama's folks start backing up those auto warranties

Watch this instructional video on how to get your car repaired.
(PLEASE NOTE: This is just another reason I bought a Hyundai.)
